New Meta tools for advertisers
Meta is testing the introduction of new solutions to improve Brand Safety on Facebook and Instagram. One of the main new features is the ability to disable comments under advertising posts. This option is available to a select group of companies for now and is in the testing phase.
Blocking unwanted profiles
Advertisers have also been given the ability to create a list of blocked publishers, allowing them to block the display of ads on certain public profiles. This feature, previously only available on Instagram, has been extended to Facebook as well. This gives advertisers more control over where their ads appear.
Meta strengthens Brand Safety
Meta has announced further efforts to improve Brand Safety, with the new tools expected to be more widely available from early 2025. Tests conducted with third-party partners have shown that a combination of new features, such as the assortment filter in News and Rolls and blocked publisher lists, have yielded positive results.
Professional desktop development
Meta continues to develop its professional dashboard, which gathers tools for advertisers in one place. In addition to features such as the assortment filter, the ability to manage lists of blocked publishers has also been introduced. These new features are designed to increase the effectiveness and security of advertising campaigns on Meta platforms.
