Task
Creating a new SEO-compliant website for a client in the moving industry that has its business in Munich. So the site not only had to be SEO compliant, but also had to comply with the strict requirements of the German privacy policy. The client had already been carrying out SEO activities with us for a few months for its old site, which, however, was not very well adapted for SEO as well as for privacy policy. It also lacked properly developed content. The real challenge was to adjust the contact form (and especially the ability to upload files) so that all legal standards were met. The site is intended to be informative (descriptions of services), presentable (added photos of work and contact information) and attractive to the user.
Solution
The first step was to select a suitable template that would provide the ability to install the necessary plugins to help meet privacy policy requirements and be appropriately modifiable in terms of SEO efforts. An analysis of local competition showed that the client’s original site had too little content, which is crucial when it comes to SEO. In cooperation with a copywriter, new texts were created that were not only informative, but also optimized for pre-selected keywords. The website was created on WordPress. The choice of this CMS was dictated primarily by the fact that it allows a lot of modifications and is extremely intuitive to use for inexperienced users – so that in the future the client will be able to change the content himself without any obstacles. Thanks to the installation of special plugins, we were able to customize the template – primarily to meet the requirements of the German privacy policy and in terms of SEO.
Effect
The website is more user-friendly, compliant with SEO principles and German data processing law. Thanks to our SEO efforts, the site is gradually becoming more visible on the German market.
