Task

Positioning of a website from the IT training industry conducted online, which aimed to reach potential customers and increase traffic through the keywords positioned. As the site had been operational for only a few months, it required a more thorough analysis from both seo and technical perspectives. There was unoptimized content on the subpages of individual products. In turn, the category sub-pages showed a content deficit. Therefore, it was important to immediately take comprehensive measures to achieve the desired goal.

Solution

The first step that gave rise to SEO activities was a consultation with the client regarding keywords and the subject matter of the area to be promoted. Based on the guidelines obtained, an analysis and selection of keywords used for positioning was carried out. This was followed by a site audit, which addressed both technical and optimization issues. The recommendations contained in it were an important part of the strategy to build the strength of the site in the search engine. In addition to optimizing the website, the audit addressed the important issue of feeding content to subpages showing a content deficit. In order to eliminate it, content was prepared and published on the site after prior verification by the client. The implementation of all recommendations from the prepared audit was nothing more than the creation of a solid foundation in the form of optimized subpages, to which linking was then carried out.

Effect

Even in the initial phase of implementing the optimization recommendations, there was a noticeable positive effect on Google’s perception of the site. This was visible in the form of, among other things, an increase in the position of the site on previously indexed keywords and new positions for phrases that were previously outside the top 100 search results. In the following months of cooperation and further linking, the site began to appear in the top 10 for more keywords, which resulted in an increase in the number of searches from the organic channel.
