In May-July 2021, we became the winners of the seventh competition organized by our client Vekamaf – a manufacturer of equipment for manufacturing plants. We competed against SEO/SEM agencies from the Czech Republic, Hungary and Belarus. Of the four agencies, we were the one who generated the highest number of conversions and leads. We began our work by identifying the areas of Vekamaf’s Polish division that most needed SEO optimization and that showed the greatest potential for generating sales. We decided on the following three production areas:
- Filling lines;
- Filling bags and;
- Separation and filtration equipment.
As part of SEO optimization, we conducted a number of activities, including:
- Meta tag optimization;
- Adding missing alternative texts;
- Publication of internal articles;
- Publication of sponsored articles on high-quality industry portals.
The result was a 72% increase in organic traffic compared to the previous year:
Our work has significantly improved the visibility of the client’s site. The number of phrases in the top 10 results increased from 136 to 152, and in the top 3 from 40 to 43.
The Google Ads campaign, in turn, brought nearly 1,300 new users to the site.
The most popular phrases were:
- packaging;
- freeze-drying;
- wrappers.
During this three-month period, our agency generated the highest number of conversions in the form of direct phone calls and contact forms sent. 63 conversions were generated from organic traffic, 8 from Google Ads campaigns and the remaining 10 from other sources.
The Polish branch of Vekamaf qualified 48% of conversions for valuable leads – those that generated sales and profits for the company. The largest customers were Dolina Noteci, Sponcel and Hobby Vitapol.
This is not the first time we have won a contest organized by Vekamaf. The previous edition of the contest also settled with our victory. In addition to the honor of taking first place, Vekamaf company sent us a prize in the form of… foosball table! This is definitely a fitting prize, as the table is very popular in our office.
The eighth Vekamaf Online Marketing competition will start in November. Our agency will again take part in it. We are ready to take on the challenge and are currently in the first stage of preparation.
